Artwork Guidelines
If you are supplying your own artwork there are just a few things to bear in mind. Letterpress has its limitation due to the nature of the process involved so please follow these simple rules to ensure you get the best result from your artwork:
- Set your artwork at finished size (ie business cards – 55mm x 85mm, A6 – 148.5 x 105mm, A5 – 210 x 148.5mm)
- Supply with crop marks and 3mm of bleed
- Pdf, jpeg or vector files accepted
- No CMYK colours, convert all colours to spots
- Minimum line thickness: 1pt
- Minimum spacing: 1pt
- Minimum text size: 6pt
- Avoid grayscale images. Instead use basic shapes, filling with dots, lines or other symetrical shapes etc.
